This is our final week for our course project. As we finalize our projects there are a few tasks to do this week. First we are to use free tools available on the internet to check our website to identify any issues with our HTML code and any accessibility issues. Secondly we are to conduct a user test with at least two people. During this user test, the tester is to fill out the form I created back in week 5 and take screenshots of that filled out form. After all reviews are completed, I am to create a short report detailing the test results which include the test user’s suggestions along with my responses to those suggestions.

HTML Code Check

I ran my HTML code through a tester and only found a few minor issues. The first being that I omitted the language definition in the HTML code (easy fix) and the other minor issue was that I didn’t have proper nesting of heading tags in a few spots. I am not going to go back and fix the headings tags. I think I had a H3 and a H2 nested in it or something like that, I feel that is really minor and I used those sizes of headings for a reason.

Finalizing the Site

I am very close to being completely done with the site. I have to complete 3 more reviews on the board games before I am completed. I am considering whether or not to embed YouTube videos on how to play the games on their respective pages. Overall I am very please with my first site. Its been a lot of hard work and I have learned so much through this experience. I enjoyed this journey very much and look forward to designing and building more websites in the future.
