Week 5: Implement Site Content and Create a Form

Week 5 Project Milestone

This week are to continue the work we started in week 4 in regards to continually adding content to the site. By the end of this week we should have at least 3 pages completed. In addition to that task, we are to create a user feedback form. The feedback form should include all of the necessary controls such as:

  • text boxes
  • radio buttons
  • check boxes
  • text areas
  • drop down lists
  • buttons

We are to use CSS to control the layout of the form. We must include a reset and submit button on the form. The reset button will clear the form and the submit button will load a “Your information has been received” page.

Thoughts Going Into This Week

I really look forward to adding some JavaScript to the site. I do have a little previous experience with JavaScript and am comfortable with writing code in JS. I dont think I will have an issue with having 3 pages completed. I’ve tried to make everything as modular as possible, so that all of the structure and styling can be applied throughout the site. Besides a few images and the actual written content, 5 of my pages will have the same structure and styling. So I have the template built out already and I think I could be able to get all 5 of those pages completed this week. The only page that is different is my home page but 2/3 of that is the same as the other pages and that template is already built out. So again, just have to fill it with content. I completed that home page last week but I want to re-do it, I didn’t like the way it was looking and I’ve learned so much more since I first started building that page a few weeks ago. I hope to provide you all with code examples and screen shots later this week.
